In 2020, Union Chemicals Factory LLC, a subsidiary of Ittihad International Investment LLC, took a significant step forward by acquiring Ittihad Gulf Limited (IGL) – a world-class chemical manufacturing facility in Yanbu, spanning an impressive 52,000 sqm. Designed and built by the global leader in sulfonation technology, our Yanbu plant reflects a commitment to innovation, precision, and excellence in every drop.
With an annual production capacity of 40,000 tons, IGL produces premium Linear Alkyl Benzene Sulphonic Acid (LABSA) and Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulphate (SLES) — setting new benchmarks for quality, performance, and reliability in the chemical industry.
To complement our high-quality chemical output, IGL also manufactures robust HDPE 220L and 250L Open Top Drums and Closed Top Drums with secure caps and metal rings. Made from high-density polyethylene, these drums deliver exceptional molecular strength and resistance to acids, oils, fuels, and corrosive substances, making them ideal for use across a wide range of industries
